On 3 Jan 2011 Colin Standen suffered a severe stroke to the right side of his body leaving his right arm and leg paralysed. The purpose of this Blog is threefold. To inform his family, friends and colleagues of his progress in rehabilitation; to record that progress so that he can look back and see the size of the mountain he climbed, but mainly to allow family and friends to leave their messages of support and encouragement as members of TEAM COLIN.

"GET A GRIP" STANDEN
Colin has been home from hospital for 5 weeks now and his recovery is going from strength to strength.
We had a momentous day on Thursday, when Colin managed to "get a grip" and move his right hand for the first time since his stroke.
